Acceptable Use Policy

NothingButStyle™ IRC is an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network that provides a safe and friendly chat environment for all ages. NothingButStyle™ IRC strictly prohibits the illegal trade of software and pornographic files on the network. Users that violate this NothingButStyle™ IRC Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) will be removed on a temporary or permanent basis depending on the nature of the offense.

Connecting to NothingButStyle IRC will subject you to a legal, open Proxy scan.

NothingButStyle™ IRC is a private, moderated network, in that we reserve all rights to deny access to any of our server's to any user, host or domain without warning or explanation. NothingButStyle™ IRC provides all network services free of charge. There are no fees required to use any server linked to NothingButStyle™ IRC, or to register nicknames and/or channels. In return for the provision of free network access and services, we expect user's to comply with the terms listed in this AUP. If you are not in agreement with our policies, disconnect from any and all NothingButStyle™ IRC servers now.

All clients connecting to NothingButStyle™ IRC will not use the network to engage in illegal activities, including the transfer of illegal software and/or pornography and/or harassment of other users.

Although NothingButStyle™ IRC does allow channel names or channel topics containing offensive words, Those channels must be set mode +s. Failure to do so will result in the channel being dropped and/or Locked +s and/or banned completely at the full discretion of our administrative staff.

Any channel's that encourages or support harassment will be closed immediately and will result in permanent removal from the network for every person in the channel no exceptions.

Advertising, cloning by multiple client connects, flooding by repeated sending of text or CTCP commands, use of profanity or harassment against other user's are all grounds for immediate and permanent removal from the network.

NothingButStyle™ IRC cooperates fully with local, state and federal authorities with investigations of Internet abuse and fraud. NothingButStyle™ IRC takes no responsibility and explicitly disclaims all liability for the content of any text or materials which pass through this network, or the results of running any commands while using these services.
NothingButStyle™ IRC Reserves the right to change and or modify this AUP at any time for any reason, with or with out notice.
NothingButStyle™ IRC Reserves the right to log any and all network activity and or communications with or with out notice and for any reason at any time.
